The Wailers
The Wailers
Genre: Folk/World

Do The Wailers really need an introduction? The full name of the band formed by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston is The Wailing Wailers. After the trio split, Bob Marley kept the name The Wailers for the musicians who played alongside him from the 1960s until his death. Currently led by the bass-player who co-founded the band and one of the true architects of reggae, Aston 'Family Man' Barrett, they are embarking on their 30th world tour. Together, they are reliving the greatest hits of the king of Jamaican music such as 'No Woman No Cry', 'Exodus' and 'Jamming', as well as new compositions. With the original brass section from the 70s line-up – sax-player Glen Da Costa and trombonist Vin Gordon – the Wailers are proving that the legend lives on.
