London rock band Status Quo is back with a 33rd album released on September 6, 2019.
With more than 130 million records sold, Status Quo continues to create, improve and play as they have for over half a century, keeping them at the top of the charts for so long.
Their hits “Pictures of Matchstick Men”, “In the Army Now”, “Rockin All Over the World” and their 5,500 concerts marked millions of people and made Status Quo a monument to British rock music.
This year 2019 marks the release of the band’s 33rd album entitled Backbone.
Composed of eleven tracks, written by the classic Rossi / Young duo, this album was recorded in Francis Rossi’s studio and brings together solid musicians who support each other.
This record is proof that the creative fiber of the band’s founder, Francis Rossi, is brighter than ever, even if it’s the first album without the great Rick Parfitt.
