Formed in 1992 by former students of the Berklee College of Music, this Boston group today brings together a collective of six musicians. Lettuce (literally “lettuce” but pronounced “let us”), brought a breath of fresh air to funk, a rich groove sound with a style and rhythm directly inspired by hip-hop.
