“There has been some water under the bridges since our last visit to Europe, which I missed and the good news is that we are coming back in early 2019. I’m going on tour to show that the blues are stronger than ever. “John Mayall

A true pioneer of English blues, John Mayall has launched guitarists like Mick Taylor, Peter Green and confirmed the talent of Eric Clapton. His Blues Breakers also saw big names like Jack Bruce (bass) and Aynsley Dunbar (drums). His most iconic albums remain Blues From Laurel Canyon (1968) and The Turning Point (1969). John Mayall remained, throughout his career, faithful to the twelve measures of the Chicago idiom, the blues.

Nobody Told Me, his new album (the 67th of his career) was released in February 2019. He is very special, some of his favorite guitarists have participated as Joe Bonamassa, Carolyn Wonderland, Todd Rundgren, Larry McCray, Alex Lifeson or Steven Van Zant.

In 2019 besides, the one nicknamed the “Godfather of British blues” will celebrate his 85 years.
As part of his 85th Anniversary tour, he has already traveled through France to Paris, Strasbourg and Lille in April and will be back in the fall!
