PARIS – April 16, 2020
POSTPONEMENT OF THE TOUR IN 2021
Following government measures taken due to the spread of COVID-19 imposing complete containment on the whole territory until further notice, but also to anticipate difficult conditions of return to normal, we are forced to having to postpone the tour of JOE SATRIANI in May 2021 , whose new dates are as follows:
Tickets purchased for the original concerts will be valid for postponement dates. However, customers who already wish to have their tickets refunded can contact the point of sale where they were purchased, within two months, until June 16, 2020 inclusive.
Note that the concert originally planned for Gérardmer on May 30, 2020 will not be postponed.
We deeply regret these reports and thank the organizers, the rooms and the spectators for their understanding.

More dates will be announced soon, and dates for the North American tour will be in the fall of 2020.
Satriani will perform songs from his new album planned for April 2020 at Sony / Legacy, as well as great classics such as “Surfing With The Alien”, “Cherry Blossoms”, “Always with Me, Always with You” and “Flying In A Blue Dream”.
He will be joined by famed drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty), bassist Bryan Beller (Aristocrats) and keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc).
Since the release in 2017 of his album What Happens Next, Satriani has toured the world with his G3 Guitar Extravaganza, to the delight of the critics, before embarking for the American tour of the Experience Hendrix Tower. Recently, he released Squares, a disc featuring unpublished pieces from the more anonymous era of his Squares band. He also announced the release of Surfing With The Alien, his classic of 1987, with a new cover and Stripped – the Backing Tracks, a bonus disc featuring all the songs, but without the guitar solos.
