Sir Elton John’s farewell tour is a real success in France and around the world.
After his concerts at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille on June 18, 2019, at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on June 20, 2019, at Arkéa Arena in Bordeaux on June 22, 2019 and at the Nîmes Festival on June 23, 2019, Elton John will be back in 2020 for 3 grand concerts at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris.
In January, at Gotham Hall (New York), the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour was announced. The first 76 dates were immediately complete, suggesting that this farewell tour will be one of the most popular musical events of the next three years, if not the most important.
“I want to thank my great fans for their continued support throughout my career, and especially for being there to celebrate my last tour: Farewell Yellow Brick Road,” says Elton John. “I can not wait until the tour begins to see everyone on the road. ”
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour started in the United States last month. It will feature more than 300 concerts across five continents, passing through North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australia before ending in 2021. These dates mark the very last Superstar tour and the end of half a century on the road for one of the most enduring artists of Pop. Elton’s concert will entice his fans into a very visual musical adventure spanning 50 years of an unparalleled career teeming with hits.
