Alice Cooper launched an all new kind: he is the creator of the theatric hard rock or shock rock! For each concert, he creates a show that aims to shock, gathering together electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors: astonishing!
Discovered in 1969 by Frank Zappa in Los Angeles, Alice Cooper’s solo career increased in the late 70’s with several success such as “You & Me” and some albums that became hits Lace and Whisky and From the Inside.
During the 80’s, Cooper explored different sounds from heavy metal to melodic hard rock that he used for his albums Flush the Fashions (1980), Constrictor (1986), Raise your Fit and Yell (1987) and Trash (1989). This last album remains his best seller.
His last studio album Paranormal launched in 2017 is known to be one of his biggest selling album. The tour called Paranormal tour made him come in France for 3 SOLD OUT dates (Amphitheatre in Lyon, Salle Pleyel and Olympia in Paris).
On December 7th, 2017, the rock legend recorded the A Paranormal evening album during his performance at the Olympia of Paris. This album, launched on August 31st, 2018, captures a rock n’ roll show at his best: one of Cooper’s best live with guitarist Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen, Ryan Roxie, the bassist Chuck Garric and the drummer Glen Sobel playing by his side.
2019 will sign the rocker return with a tour that will make him come in France for 3 exceptional dates.
