After an unforgetable concert at the Orange Antique Theater on last September, David Gilmour will be back in France for 4 exceptional concerts. The form member of the Pink Floyd will present his last album "Rattle That Lock", released on last september.
David Gilmour grew up in Cambridge where he met Syd Barrett, the founder of Pink Floyd, who he will replace several years later. He then became one of the most important person in the band. Singer, guitarist and songwriter, he is the creator of a unique sound and locution. The worldwide success of "Dark Side of the Moon" in 1973 pictured this. The success kept going on with "The Wall" in 1979, written and performed by Roger Waters. After the album release followed a serie of amazing concerts, almost "rock operas" with a spectacular staging.
After Roger Waters left, David Gilmour is at the head of the band for two more albums until the final separation in 2005. His first solo eponym album "About Face" is a success. It includes collaborations with great artists such as Paul McCartney or Pete Townshend. David Gilmour had a new success with his last album "Rattle That Lock" that he will celebrate during an unforgetable concert at the Orange Théâtre Antique on last september.
